🌍 Introduction
Everywhere we look, we see destruction: the earth exhausted, hearts broken, greed rising, families divided, and war becoming normal. It is easy to conclude: “Humanity is the real cancer of the earth.”
But the truth is deeper.
The problem is not humanity itself —
the problem is humanity without God.
When humans live without their Creator, they chase false purpose — and this wandering brings sin, pain, and decay. But that is not why we were created. We were created for something greater. We were created for Someone greater.
🔍 What Went Wrong?
“The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked.”
— Jeremiah 17:9
From the beginning, God gave humans a purpose:
- To know Him
- To walk with Him
- To care for His creation
- To reflect His nature on Earth
But when humanity decided to live independently —
to create our own purpose — sin began.
Instead of walking with God, we walked away from Him.
Instead of caring for creation, we exploited it.
Instead of loving others, we used them.
And the earth began to pay the price.
💔 Humanity Without God
When humans try to live without their Creator:
- Truth becomes relative
- Life becomes cheap
- Pleasure replaces holiness
- Creation becomes a tool for profit
- Purpose becomes self-centered
“All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way.”
— Isaiah 53:6
The Bible never said humans are worthless.
It says we are lost — and in need of a Shepherd.
🌿 Why God Still Created Us
Even with all our failures, God never abandoned us.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son…”
— John 3:16
God did not create us to destroy the earth.
He created us to restore it — through Him.
Creation is not waiting for billionaires, politicians, or scientists.
Creation is waiting for the children of God to rise:
“The creation waits in eager expectation
for the children of God to be revealed.”
— Romans 8:19
🙌 Our True Purpose
You said it correctly:
We were created to worship God — not to invent our own purpose.
“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
Worship is not just singing — it is a way of living.
- Honoring God with our choices
- Caring for His creation
- Showing kindness and truth
- Serving rather than consuming
- Seeking His will before our own
This is why Jesus said:
“Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God,
and His righteousness —
and all these things will be added to you.”
— Matthew 6:33
When humanity worships God correctly, hope returns — in homes, in hearts, and even in the soil of the earth.
🌅 So What Should We Do Now?
Here is a simple path:
- Return to God daily.
- Ask: Lord, how may I serve You today?
- Live as a steward, not an owner.
- Choose truth over comfort.
- Be light — even if you are the only one.
“Let your light shine before others,
that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16

Father, renew our hearts.
Forgive us for trying to live without You.
Teach us to walk in Your purpose —
not our own.
May our lives bring healing,
may our actions reflect Your love,
and may Your name be glorified
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
