🌿 Thrive on More Clarity and God’s Gospel 🌿

In times of confusion, the people of God are called to hold fast to the unchanging truth of Scripture. While cultures shift, opinions fluctuate, and leaders compromise, the Gospel of Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Unfortunately, we live in an era where clarity is being sacrificed on the altar of inclusivity. Many religious leaders — even at the highest levels of the Church — speak in ways that blur what God has made clear. The Catholic Church, under the leadership of Pope Francis, has taken positions that create tension with the Bible, particularly regarding the LGBTQ issue.

📖 God’s Gospel Is Unchanging

Marriage by God’s design:
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24)
Warnings against altering truth:
“Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you and you be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30:6)
“For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18)

God’s Word is not subject to cultural reinterpretation. It stands eternal.

⚖️ The Conflict with Catholic Leadership

The Catholic Church officially teaches that marriage is between a man and a woman.
Yet, recent papal statements and blessings for same-sex couples create the appearance of endorsing what God calls sin.
By seeking to appear “inclusive,” leaders risk defying God directly. Inclusivity without truth is not compassion; it is deception.

🌍 Other Religious Groups Following the Same Path

The Catholic Church is not alone in this drift. Many other Christian denominations and religious groups have embraced LGBTQ inclusion in ways that contradict Scripture:

Mainline Protestant Denominations (e.g., Episcopal Church USA, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, United Church of Christ, Presbyterian Church USA): many now bless same-sex marriages, ordain openly LGBTQ clergy, and revise their theology to fit cultural trends.
Certain Methodist Branches: The United Methodist Church recently split over this very issue, with one side affirming LGBTQ marriage and clergy while the other holds to biblical teaching.
Progressive Christian Movements: These groups emphasize “love and acceptance” but redefine love apart from truth, celebrating lifestyles the Bible calls sin.
Some Jewish and Other Faith Traditions: Reform Judaism and other liberal faith branches openly affirm LGBTQ practices, placing human opinion above divine law.

This shows a widespread apostasy, a falling away from God’s truth that Scripture warned would happen in the last days (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

🚨 The Danger of Compromise

When leaders place man’s approval above God’s authority, they cease to represent Christ and instead advance the enemy’s agenda. Jesus Himself warned:

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” (Matthew 7:15)

The Pope, pastors, rabbis, or any leader are all just men and women. They are not above Scripture. If they speak contrary to God’s Word, then they speak not for Christ, but against Him.
