We live in a time where something once seen as tragic and unthinkable is now being celebrated, recorded, and even treated as a casual event. Abortion, once framed as a “last resort” for rare and desperate situations, has been normalized into a convenient form of birth control for some. Videos of women openly sharing their abortions, throwing “abortion parties,” and wearing the act as a badge of empowerment have flooded social media. This is not empowerment — this is the glorification of death.

Instead of teaching women about the deep value of life, responsibility, and the beauty of God’s design for sexuality, society has chosen to applaud those who end the lives of their own children. We no longer weep over the loss of innocent lives; we cheer for those who take them. The murder of unborn babies is not just legal — it’s marketed, branded, and normalized as a “choice.” But in God’s eyes, life is never disposable.
The False Narrative: Women as the Victims
We are told over and over that women are the victims in the abortion debate. Yet in many cases, the reality is far different. For some, abortion is being used repeatedly — not out of desperation, but as a backup plan for poor sexual choices. Pregnancy is treated as an inconvenience rather than a sacred responsibility. This is not liberation. This is the ultimate form of selfishness, where the most defenseless human beings are sacrificed for convenience.
To make matters worse, in most cases men have no legal say in whether their unborn child lives or dies. Even if the father longs to protect the baby, his wishes are often ignored entirely. The decision rests solely in the mother’s hands, and a man’s grief or desire to raise his own child holds no weight in the legal process. This silences fathers and removes their God-given role in protecting and providing for their family.
The Darkness Behind the Industry
Perhaps most disturbing is what happens after the abortion. Many are unaware that the cells of these innocent children are harvested and used in the cosmetics industry — including anti-aging lotions and treatments. Products designed to smooth wrinkles and “restore youth” are being made at the cost of destroying lives. This is paganism at its height — a modern-day ritual sacrifice for the sake of beauty and vanity. Just as ancient pagan cultures sacrificed children to idols for prosperity, today we cloak the same evil in clinical language and luxury branding.
God’s View Is Clear
In Scripture, children are not accidents — they are blessings. Psalm 127:3 declares: “Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” God forms each life in the womb with purpose and care (Psalm 139:13–16). To destroy that life is to stand in direct rebellion against His creation. Every abortion is the silencing of a heartbeat that God Himself ordained.
The Path Back to Life
We cannot afford to “thrive” on less truth, less accountability, or less value for life. We must reject the lie that killing is freedom. Thriving on less abortion means:
- Choosing life even when it’s inconvenient.
- Educating young women and men about God’s design for sexuality and responsibility.
- Supporting mothers in crisis with compassion and resources, not a death sentence for their child.
- Exposing the hidden darkness of the abortion industry and its ties to profit and vanity.
- Restoring the voice and role of fathers in protecting their children.
God calls us to be a people who defend the voiceless, not celebrate their destruction. The culture may cheer death, but the Kingdom of God cherishes life. Thriving in God’s way means honoring His creation, protecting the innocent, and speaking truth — even when it’s unpopular.
Life is sacred. Children are a gift. And no amount of cultural acceptance will make murder holy.
