Thrive on Less Confusion: Standing on the Unchanging Truth of God

In a world of shifting values, changing definitions, and moral compromise, many find themselves lost in confusion. People no longer know what is right or wrong, what is true or false. But confusion is not from God. He is not the author of chaos, but of clarity.

“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33

We live in a time where truth is being rewritten, not because God has changed, but because humanity is rebelling against Him. The gospel of Jesus Christ has always been clear: God is holy, sin separates us from Him, and Jesus is the only way back.

🔍 Modern Culture: A Marketplace of Lies

The culture around us promotes ideas that directly contradict the Word of God. Whether it’s sexual immorality, pride, greed, or the redefinition of family and identity, we are watching society drift further from its Creator.

Many now want to redefine what God clearly calls sin:

  • Homosexuality is being normalized—even celebrated—though Scripture speaks against it.
  • Pride is worn as a badge of honor, yet God says He resists the proud (James 4:6).
  • Lust, envy, lying, and rebellion are glorified in media, music, and politics.
  • Even religion is being watered down, with people claiming “God is love” while ignoring that He is also just, righteous, and holy.

This is not “progress.” It’s rebellion.

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.” — Isaiah 5:20

📖 The Bible Has Not Changed

God’s Word is not outdated. It is timeless. It doesn’t shift with culture; it confronts it. The truth that was spoken in Genesis, in Leviticus, in Romans, in Revelation—it is still true today.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” — Isaiah 40:8

✝️ Jesus Welcomes All, But Never Excuses Sin

Jesus came to save sinners—but not to affirm sin. He showed mercy to the adulteress, but told her, “Go and sin no more” (John 8:11). He loved the broken, but He called for repentance.

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” — Matthew 4:17

The gospel is an invitation: come as you are, but don’t stay as you are. Jesus changes everything.

🧎🏽‍♂️ Stop Listening to the World. Start Listening to God.

So many today are confused because they listen more to the world than to the Word. They follow influencers, not the infallible. They seek validation, not salvation. And they call it “love” when someone comforts them in their sin instead of leading them to freedom in Christ.

But there is only one way to be set free:

“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36

Freedom is not the ability to sin without guilt. It is the power to overcome sin through Jesus.

🛡️ Thrive on Less Confusion

It’s time to stop letting society define your truth. God already has.

Thrive on less confusion by anchoring your soul to His Word. Don’t twist Scripture to fit your lifestyle—surrender your lifestyle to fit Scripture.

“Jesus said, ‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” — John 14:6

There’s no need to rewrite God’s Word. There’s only a need to read it, believe it, and live it.
